Challenge:

The main challenge with this group was to accommodate 3,500 people in a venue, other than a conference center or a convention center, for its annual convention that offered as added value a unique physical space where the event could be held with 3,500 people.

Solution:

After an exhaustive study of all the possible locations in the city, it was estimated that the Palau Sant Jordi offered this added value. This sports hall was built for the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games and met the customer’s expectations.

  • Search for the best possible venue with a “wow” factor that rejects the use of the congress venue or convention center.
  • Make it possible for the meeting and the services of F & B in the same place with an intelligent division of the space (according to pictures 2 and 3).
  • Accommodation for 3,500 participants. The best location, using as few hotels as possible and getting really low rates for the whole group.
  • Transportation: More than 90 buses arriving at the same time in one place is really a logistical challenge, and we did it.
  • Professional and multilingual staff worked very professionally throughout the event. From arrivals to the airport, transfer to the hotel and assistance during the final party on Barceloneta beach. Without them the program would not have been possible.
