The luxury train Al Andalus, is regarded as one of the top luxury trains globally, part of the top 25 trains in the world. historically its cars circulated along the tracks that cross France from Calais to the French Riviera, with members of the British monarchy on board, that palace on rails, has now become a first-class accommodation, combining luxury of the 1920’s with the amenities of the XXI century.

ITINERARY: SEVILLE – SEVILLE / SEVILLE – GRANADA
Day 1 – Sevilla ➜ Jerez
Reception at the Hotel Alfonso XIII in Sevilla at 10:30am. Visit to the capital of Andalusia, boasting the most extensive historic city centre in Spain. After having lunch at the hotel, you’ll enjoy panoramic visit to the city and the famous Plaza de España before boarding the train Al Andalus. Welcome cocktail on board and presentation of the crew. Dinner on board as the trains heads to Jerez.
Day 2 – Jerez
Buffet and a la carte breakfast. Then we will visit a wine cellar in Jerez and enjoy the show “How the Andalusian horses dance”, famous equestrian ballet with Spanish music. Lunch in Sanlúcar de Barrameda overlooking the salt marshes of Doñana National Park, from where our luxury coach will take us back to Jerez de la Frontera. Back on the train and dinner onboard. Overnight in Jerez.
Día 3 – Jerez ➜ Cádiz ➜ Ronda
Our private bus will take us to Cadiz, popularly known as “Small silver cup” and considered one of the oldest cities in Europe. Tour and free time to venture on our own into the charm of Cádiz. Lunch and journey on our Tren Al Andalus heading to the stunning city of Ronda, where we will have dinner and stay the night.
Día 4 – Ronda ➜ Granada
Tour of Ronda and its breathtaking location, set on a plateau cut by the deep gorge Tajo de Ronda, through which river Guadalevín runs. Free time before lunch and trip to Granada, a city nestled on the foothills of Sierra Nevada. Dinner and overnight in Granada.
Día 5 – Granada
We will spend the morning touring the Alhambra, the most visited monument in Spain, a rich palace complex that housed the Nasrid rulers from the Kingdom of Granada. After lunch we will have free time to visit this city. As the night falls, the whole town is wrapped in a magic spell that you will enjoy over dinner. Night in Granada.
Día 6 – Granada ➜ Linares/Baeza ➜ Córdoba
Morning journey on the Al Andalus to station of Linares-Baeza, from where our coach will take us to visit the Renaissance towns of Úbeda and Baeza, both listed as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. After lunch, we will return to the train to begin our journey to Córdoba. Dinner and overnight in Córdoba.
Día 7 – Córdoba ➜ Sevilla
After enjoying our last breakfast on board, we will visit the former capital of the emirate and the medieval caliphate of Al Andalus, once the largest, most educated and opulent city in Western Europe. Back to the train and while we are having lunch we’ll arrive in Sevilla where we’ll end the trip.
This itinerary is made in two routes, a longer one 7 days / 6 nights and a shorter one ending in Granada of 4 days / 3 nights. Please check dates to choose your preferred itinerary.
ITINERARY: MADRID – SEVILLE / SEVILLE – MADRID
Day 1- Madrid ➜ Aranjuez
Rendezvous at Hotel Alfonso XIII in Seville at 10.30 am (*). Luggage will be transferred to the train while we visit the capital of Andalusia, boasting the most extensive historic city centre in Spain. Return to the Al Andalus, welcome cocktail with the crew and lunch onboard while travelling to Zafra. Dinner and overnight in Zafra.
Day 2 – Zafra ➜ Merida
Just as every day, we begin the journey with a delicious buffet and a la carte breakfast while the train takes to Mérida, capital of Extremadura, where we will spend the day. Visit an Iberian pig farm, Milagros Aqueduct and the town’s Roman temples. After lunch, we will discover the National Museum of Roman Art, the Amphitheatre and the Roman Theatre. Free time before dinner. Overnight in Mérida.
Day 3 – Mérida ➜ Cáceres
Journey to Cáceres, an impressive Roman-origin city with an almost intact historic city centre listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Guided city tour followed by lunch and free time. Dinner on board and overnight in Cáceres.
Day 4 – Cáceres ➜ Monfragüe
We will travel to Monfragüe while having breakfast to enjoy a morning in nature, visiting this National Park home to over 200 species of vertebrates, and many more that winter or can be seen during migration to other latitudes. After the tour, enjoy lunch and entertainment on board. Dinner and overnight in Monfragüe.
Day 5 – Monfragüe ➜ Torrijos ➜ Toledo ➜ Aranjuez
The Al Andalus train will take us to Torrijos, from where we will board our coach for Toledo. Visit to the Visigoth capital listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Once we had lunch, there will be free time. Back at the train and while having dinner, we will go to Aranjuez, the Royal Site of the Spanish Crown since the 16th century. Overnight in Aranjuez.
Day 6 – Aranjuez ➜ Madrid
After enjoying our last breakfast on board, we will visit the town of Aranjuez, with its magnificent Royal Palace and extensive manicured gardens, before visiting the historic winery Carlos III. Back on the train, and over lunch, the Al Andalus will take us to Madrid, where the trip ends.
This itinerary is made in two routes with the first option starting in Madrid and ending in Sevilla. The second option starts in Sevilla and ends in Madrid. Please check dates to choose your preferred itinerary.
The train features 4 saloon cars and 7 dorm carriages with 30 suites. The maximum capacity of the train is 64 people and the suites are distributed in two categories:
20 Suites Deluxe featuring 91’49 sq ft that include a double bed with a size of 6’39 ft x 6’2 ft that during the day can be converted into a comfortable sofa. These spacious and elegant cabins include private bathroom, closet, space for the luggage and air conditioning. They also include panoramic windows. The Deluxe Suite offers you the option of enjoying two private dinners/lunches in your compartment. All non alcoholic drinks available in the minibar are also included (complimentary).
GRAND CLASS ROOM
10 Grand Class rooms with a size of 70 sq ft featuring a room of 0,30’’ x6 ft. These charming rooms retain the Belle Époque appeal of the original cabins. This room includes two single beds convertible into armchairs. They also include a minibar, privado bathroom with shower, hairdryer and a selection of welcome amenities.
