The objective of IMID-Ironman was to celebrate an interdisciplinary collaboration meeting among specialists from gastroenterology, reumatology and dermatology) with the aim to present clinical cases and to debate on an interactive discussion issues relevant for specialists in the management of immune mediated inflamatory diseases,without separating them into workshops by specialities.
- Proposed Solution: >atlanta created the website of the event, prepared newsletters to send information to the attendees, designed the logotype and signage. Also to boost and promote the conference social networks channels such as Twitter and Facebook were created and active before, during and after the event. All “noise” generated in the social networks helped to increase the number of registrations, made a more active community allowing members to create debate during talks and presentations. After the event, a huge number of wishes from the public were published on the same social networks.
- Outcome: More than 200 attendees participated in a one-day meeting distributed in 4 thematic groups of approximately 90′-100′ each, to allow presentations of about 25′, with a specific question at the end of each presentation and a joint and interactive discussion with the public facilitated by the moderators.
